Monkey was born in 2008 and joined our herd in the summer of 2016. Monkey came to us with roping and riding experience in the arena, and is currently in training to run barrels. When Monkey is not being ridden, he loves to snuggle.
Chez, formerly known as Cheese, has been on the Colorado River Ranch since 2011. Chez was born on May 4, 2001, and tolerates wearing his cowboy hat.
Patches joined the Colorado River Ranch in 2014. He comes to us with years of trail riding experience and is enjoying his leisure time on the ranch.
Tim & Andy
Tim & Andy are a pair of Percheron draft horses that pull the beautiful Colorado River Ranch wagon.
Split-Ear, aptly named for a notch in his right ear, has been on the ranch many years. Split-Ear is an excellent trail horse and does not like to deviate from the chosen path. Split-Ear was born in 1987, but unfortunately he is too old to be ridden. Therefore he is semi-retired and can only be ridden by our smallest visitors but he still makes a great companion.
Unlike his name would suggest, Rowdy is a very calm and gentle trail horse. He is an experience trail horse, having worked for many years at Beaver Creek Stables before coming to Colorado River Ranch.
